Welcome to Asheville’s Salt Cave & Spa, North Carolina’s only authentic salt cave. We are one of only two salt caves in the United States built using the Wieliczka Salt Mine as our model. We have two water features which are natural ionizers and humidifiers (1 waterfall, 1 salina) that feed the cave with sole (pronounced so-lay) and allow it to grow. Sole is a saturated solution of crystal salt and water.
